BLACK MOUNTAIN
Black Mountain is home to the Village of Cheshire. It is often called "The Front Porch of Western North Carolina" because it sits at the entrance to the mountains of Western North Carolina. Whether you are seeking a fun-filled weekend or a serene vacation from the city, you can find something for everyone to enjoy. The small-town atmosphere is a favorite for artists and craftspeople who display their work in local shops and at the many festivals hosted in the area, such as the popular L.E.A.F festival. ASHEVILLE
A short drive away is the thriving city of Asheville nestled between the Blue Ridge and Great Smoky Mountains. Asheville provides many activities and events including festivals, a large farmer's market, shops, restaurants, the Biltmore estate, the Universiry of Asheville and more. WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA (WNC)
Besides what you can find in Black Mountain and Asheville, Cheshire is convenient to the treasures of Western North Carolina. These offerings include beautiful mountain scenery, golf courses, campgrounds, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and a fantastic public radio station (WNCW). If you have not visited the North Carolina mountains, you are in for a treat. If you have, it's the perfect time to come back for a spell. GETTING TO CHESHIRE
The Village of Cheshire is nestled among the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina near Asheville. We are easily accesible from Interstate 40 by taking Exit 64 at Black Mountain then proceeding south along Highway #9 (towards Lake Lure) 6/10 of a mile to the Cheshire sign. Turn left to visit our sales center.
