Sikes Ragan, The Village of Cheshire’s Founder

Cheshire founder Sikes Ragan just wants to keep the memories of his childhood from fading. With his childhood spent in this quiet Black Mountain cove on his father's tennis camp, Sikes sought a way to fold his love of outdoor recreation, health and fitness into his daily life. After graduation from the University of the South in Sewanee, TN, followed by a summer in Oxford exploring his English roots, Sikes returned with a plan. With the help of the best land planners and Architects he could find, he developed the Village of Cheshire.

When he is not serving as part-time firefighter/EMT, teaching wilderness medicine, playing some tennis, or tweaking the details at a construction site, you will probably find him on his front porch (one of many in Cheshire), with his family, listening for the sounds of his youth.

Eddie Colley, Village of Cheshire General Manager

Eddie, a native of Hollywood, Florida, has lived in Black Mountain for over 20 years and is the proud father of four. He has been with Village of Cheshire for over five years working in the areas of Residential and Commercial sales/leases, and property management for the Village Center and Resort properties.

When Eddie is not at Cheshire, he is serving the community as a member of the Black Mountain Fire Department. Eddie is dedicated to his family, Cheshire and his community.
